Partner with Trellis to build the framework to sustain real change.
At Trellis Partners, we work with nonprofits in fully embedded term engagements that result in:
Organizational resilience – Ongoing impact that doesn’t falter with the ups and downs of external forces.
Sustainable functionality – Intuitive systems with the strength and stability to support scaling.
Intentional culture – Acculturated structure and behaviors that permeate and support every department and level.
How we work
Below are the tenets of the Trellis Partners model that make it successful, time and time again.
We approach transformational change as a limited-time campaign, focusing and aligning resources toward increased self-reliance.
Embedding in your organization means a heightened investment in your mission and engagement with your staff. As practitioners, we combine an advisory role with ownership of organizational issues to create conditions for ongoing success when our term is complete.
No fear of scope creep.
Our partnership is inclusive of everything, regardless of project complexity. A Trellis term executive engagement means no worries about discovering extra needs; no overtime; no extraordinary management.
We bring the good judgment borne of years of experience and informed by the Trellis cohort to assure you have the support you need for sound organizational decisions. Beyond the day-to-day, our embeddedness allows us to navigate the consequences.
Evaluate and adjust.
Our dedicated approach gives us room to test and pilot in controlled ways, facilitating innovation and fostering learning and self-reliance. We leverage and derive learning from each challenge – advising, correcting, and tweaking to create conditions for sustainable change.
Our embeddedness allows us to follow through in the day-to-day, week-by-week, and beyond. Following graduation from the term, our six-month check-in engagement provides an opportunity to revisit both new and lingering challenges and come to agreement on how to dedicate resources to resolve them.
Why it works
The Trellis executive is firmly embedded as a full-time executive on the nonprofit team; in a position to affect, monitor, correct, and lead deeply-rooted change that is truly acculturated. We utilize a systems approach that factors for how each piece of the system impacts others and leaves no department untouched or surprised upon completion.
Trellis Partners works with some of the pre-eminent social sector founders and leaders to strengthen and ready their organizations for next-level excellence. We understand and support their unique needs, and speak fluently with CEOs and board members, as well as all staff and stakeholders.
Finally, here at Trellis, we’re a cohort. The Trellis approach orients, onboards, and trains our cohort to operate from a place of shared understanding. We advise and support each other so that each of the nonprofits with which we partner has indirect access to our entire brain trust.
If you’re a change agent who believes that the social sector is the key to social justice and the common good, let’s talk. We’re looking for partners to join our mission to develop and deploy a new model of change management.
